Yahweh Yireh

Share this:

Yahweh Yireh [Jehovah Jireh] means the Lord will provide. When Abraham went up the mountain to sacrifice his son, he made this faith-filled statement: “God Himself will provide a lamb”. And Yahweh Yireh did provide! He supplied a ram to be sacrificed instead of Isaac. Abraham memorializes this divine intervention with the name Yireh, for the Lord’s unfailing grace and constant provision. For the Lord sees and provides for our every need!
“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)
