Yahweh Rohi

Share this:

Yahweh Rohi means: The Lord My Shepherd. In Psalm 23, David calls upon his Shepherd to be his guide through both the joyful and dark places of life. A shepherd is one who feeds his flock and leads them to green pastures (Ezekiel 34:11-15). Our Shepherd is leading us, looking out for us, delivering us, listening to us, feeding us, and so much more. When we allow Him to be all of these things to us, when we truly allow the Lord to be our Shepherd, then we will be saying the same words as David did in Psalm 23, “I shall not want”. We can know His voice if we choose to listen.
