We are Jesus’ witnesses on the earth. What is being a witness for Jesus? First, it is not saying to people, “Well you know Jesus is right for me, but I understand that you feel He might not be for you.” That is not being a witness. Being a witness is also not just being kind to people, while never challenging your loved ones, friends, neighbors, or co-workers with the exclusive claim of Messiah.

Jesus said:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
John 14:6

Being an authentic witness is to represent Yeshua to anyone God has given you influence with, so that they can have an opportunity to reject Him or accept Him. If we only represent Jesus as just being one of many paths that has become the Savior of some, and we believe that all the other religions of the world have their own way to eternal life- we have compromised the Truth.

Jesus said:
“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” John 8:24
The question I have is this: Will you and I align ourselves with the Words of God contained in Scripture? Or will we say: “You know what? The Words that I am reading in Scripture do not make sense when I compare them to what is going on in the world today. ” And then reject the Words of Scripture, because we are relying on earthly knowledge and we would prefer to go along with the “flow.”

Beloved, if we are going to enter into eternal life, we have to come into absolute agreement with God’s Word, even when it is not culturally correct. Too many of us, because the Words of Jesus are controversial and inconvenient, decide to avoid the rejection that often comes with aligning ourselves with His Word. We choose to “shrink back” by refusing to speak out that He, and He alone, is the only way to the Father.

Jesus said:
“When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8

You and I are going to have to make a choice. Will we choose to stand in faith and be His witnesses by declaring that Jesus is the only way to eternal life? Or will we “shrink back” and become another casualty of deception? Beloved, choose to stand with the Word of God!
