Did you know that we have the power through the Holy Spirit to draw others to Jesus? We have been given the power to be His witnesses. I want you to know, that my experience has been, that when I witness for Jesus more people than not are interested. There is no reason to fear rejection. It is important to sow the seeds!

In the beginning of Song of Songs chapter 6, the women of Jerusalem ask the Shulamite bride where Jesus is. The bride responds by saying that He is serving. Today, this is still where we can find Jesus. We know that Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve. In Matthew 6:10 Jesus said “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” It is in using you and I, beloved, that He builds His church.

Some of us need to break away from believing we fulfill our obligation to the LORD by coming to church once or twice a week. We do this and wonder why we still feel empty. If you want to experience more, begin to serve, and you will feel alive and become more passionate. Do not wait to hear a voice telling you exactly where to serve. Rather, find a need in the body and serve God’s people.

Jesus was free to serve because He knew who He was, where He was going, and that the Father fulfilled all of His needs. We too are complete in Christ.
Song of Songs 6:3 says, “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.”
There is no reason to allow fear to keep us from reaching out to others, or serving. This is our true destiny and who we are. You will find completeness and fullness in serving others with Him.

We can allow Him to break in and break up the things we cling to that keep us from finding our true identity in Him. We are His inheritance, and are to be in partnership with Him, to accomplish His will; in continuing to build His kingdom here on earth. We ask You-Father for help to receive the heart of a servant, to become more like Your Son, and to be cleansed and transformed.
