Our lives involve constant battles. It’s our reality because we have been born into a world that’s a battlefield between good (the LORD) and evil (Satan). Our LORD, whose essence is love toward us, is continually fighting for us.
Recently, Rabbi was experiencing a great battle related to pain and discomforts in his body. The battle became so severe that it spilled over into agitation towards me. In the flesh, I was hurt and frustrated, but suddenly the Spirit of the LORD arose in me and firmly commanded me, “Fight for him!” Putting down feelings of hurt and frustration, I sprung into active spiritual warfare, adamantly and repeatedly declaring the Blood of Jesus against the enemy that wreaked havoc in my husband’s body, and calling for the LORD’s Angels to warfare with me against these enemies. Although exhausted, I would not relent against our enemies until they were crushed and rendered powerless against us. When the Spirit of the LORD spoke, “Fight for him!” He awakened me to the reality that my husband and I are one, we have the same enemies, and we must always fight for each other.
In the same manner, beloved ones, as Christian brothers and sisters we are one with each other in Father’s unconditional love and we have the same enemies. The next time there are hurt feelings and misunderstandings, fight for each other, placing offense and spirits of accusation, condemnation and ill will under the Blood of Jesus. In this manner, true love will always win. Let’s remember that, in this world of spiritual battles, to love means to fight. The great I Am is fighting for you, and in His Spirit we fight for each other with victories in our hand.
