Joy and Hope in a Hopeless Land

We reside in the world where Satan resides. Jesus said, “I know where you live – where Satan has his throne” (Revelation 2:13). The spirit of darkness acts like a gravity that tries to pull us downward. Our enemy is committed to living apart from Creator
God. He wants to draw us into the deception of living for ourselves and being bent toward humankind rather than God. In Jeremiah 2:13, God says, “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken Me, the spring of living water, and have dug cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” Trying to find our identity in things and the affirmation of others is a broken cistern. My Beloved of our Father, stay vigilant and keep pushing the reset button to abide in the Truth. Life is found in Father God, His love and His eternal Kingdom. Jesus said, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know the only true God …” (John 17:3). I challenge you to look upward and reset yourself by opening up to Ephesians 1 in your Bible and begin reading. This chapter resets our heart and mind in the Truth, and we find the joy of the LORD arise within us!
