“Father God, my goal and desire today is to walk in a manner worthy of You, to please You in all respects.”
“So that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects.” Colossians 1:10
Beloved, have you ever asked yourself: “What am I really trying to do with my life?” “What are my goals?” “What is my ambition for the day?” When you wake up in the morning and examine the trajectory of your heart—What is your motive for the day? Should this not be the first thought we have and the first words we say?
Unfortunately, many people that call themselves believers wake up in the morning without considering how they can walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and please Him in all respects. Instead, they are focused only on their job, personal problems, relationships, and so on. God is too often way in the background, put on hold until the next emergency. But if you and I are going to walk truly worthy of our calling, we have to understand that we are born again with the Spirit
of the living God and have been purchased by HaShem (Which is the Hebrew way to say: “Bless the name of the Lord”). Beloved, we have been bought by Father God through His Son to live for Him and walk in a manner worthy of our calling. Many of us need to reprogram our minds. We need to set our sights on why we are really here.
Jesus was born to go to the cross and He came to that cross and said, “Not My will, but Yours be done (Luke 22:42).” I want to challenge you, beloved ones, to begin every morning by waking up and recognizing that you have a God-centered mission to accomplish every day. Whatever obstacles you are going to face, you need to have victory over them and walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. Every day there are going to be battles, and every day our purpose is to win those conflicts by the Spirit and the Word of the Lord. While, at all times, keeping our affection and priority set on Him, in order to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. Jesus said in the book of Revelation, “He that overcomes will inherit these things.” The more we overcome, the greater our reward. And beloved, it gives Father great pleasure to reward His children. Let’s start making His will for each day our top priority, and by doing so, we will walk in victory and in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects.
