Before working full time at Rabbi’s side in ministry, I was working as a nurse as well as performing the active duty of a mother to two school-aged children. My heart’s desire as a nurse was to spend quality bedside time with my patients, but somehow I found myself being moved out of bedside patient care and into administrative work, which culminated in my function as the Director of Nursing. The weight of responsibilities was so great that I felt like everything could fall apart at the seams at any moment. During this season of my life the LORD imparted perseverance and increased confidence (faith) into me. He taught me that with Him ALL things are possible, and that I can trust Him as I put Him at the wheel of every situation, with me seeking and waiting for His direction in each step.
Through pain, struggle and trials of every kind we are being strengthened and transformed in our inner man for the accomplishing of ALL things through our lives.
“… Gideon, Barak, Samson,
Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets – who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.” Hebrews 11:32-34
