Gathering His Army—A Call to Unity

“Write down the vision And inscribe it clearly on tablets, So that one who reads it may run.” Habakkuk 2:2

I once heard a former President say: “The problem with you Christians is that you don’t stick together; you’re not in unity. If you guys would be in unity, you would
be so powerful.”

Unity brings life, division produces death.

Our potential to change and impact the world is contingent on our being in unity.

Think about how much more the church would accomplish in the earth if we were united together as a movement, as one voice, as one body.

Consider with me:
Unity is hard to defeat: And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart. Ecclesiastes 4:12

Unity Works:
“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls
when there is not another to lift him up!”Ecclesiastes 4: 9, 10

Unity Strengthens:
“As iron sharpens iron, So one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17

Unity Involves Jesus!
“Where two or three are gathered together, I am in the midst” (Matthew 18:20).

God called us to be one people, a family, and a body. His desire is that we function in unity, standing together as one.

This is why Paul went to such great lengths to say:
“For the body is not one part, but many. If the foot says, ‘Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body, it is not for this reason any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body, it is not for this reason any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? But now God has arranged the parts, each one of them in the body, just as He desired’” (1 Corinthians 12: 14-18).

We need all the different parts of our physical body to be able to function correctly as human beings. Paul uses that analogy to tell us that the body is only whole and can only function properly when we all come together.

Unity is Precious:
I love Psalm 133, a Psalm of David. The first line says this,
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.” Then he goes on to say, “It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It’s like the dew of Hermon…”

Aaron the high priest, the oil came down upon him, starting from his head going all the way down his robe, all the way down his body. That’s what the anointing is like when God’s people come together. When we gather under His banner as an unified force, the anointing falls.

We need to come together as a powerful army that can act together for God’s purposes here and right now—in the earth.

We see the power of unity expressed in Nehemiah chapter 4. The Jewish people had gone into Jerusalem to rebuild the walls of the Temple, and when they went in, the enemies of God started attacking them. They were determined to stop them! Sound familiar? So, they had to come together as one man, as one body, united, each one doing their part in order to successfully build the wall.

In verse 7 and 8 of Nehemiah chapter 4:
“Now when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the repair of the walls of Jerusalem went on, and that the breaches began to be closed, they were very angry. So all of them conspired together to come to fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it.”

When God’s purpose is moving forward the enemy immediately sees it and he begins to gather his forces together. It wasn’t just one, it was all of them. It was Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites. All of them, all these different forces came together to fight against God’s people.

Beloved, we are facing so many determined enemies on the front right now. There are so many movements that are anti-God and they’re coming together to fight us as
believers. We must come together to fight back. We will prevail when we do, because Yeshua said,

“I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against us” (Matthew 16:18).

Again…
“Write down the vision And inscribe it clearly on tablets, So that one who reads it may run.” Habakkuk 2:2

Gathering His Army
We have access to a very powerful and effective tool to unify us – texting.

Through texting you and I can come together as an army to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. When something happens that we need to respond to, I can release a mass text to everybody and together we can then launch a “counter offensive,” just like God’s people did in the days of Nehemiah. Together we will be able to stand as a united front.

I’m believing for 120,000 of God’s people to sign up to receive personal texts from me. Each text will come directly from me in real-time. I will only text when God lays a message on my heart or when something is going on in the earth that I feel that God is calling us to respond to. Think about the impact of 120,000 people united as one and speaking forth together! We immediately can get on that cause and see the tide change and effect a shift because of the power there is in unity.

There are so many things happening in the world right now that as God’s children we need to respond to, in unity as an army. But unless we’re united and do it in force as a group, we will have little impact alone.

Here is what I am humbly asking you to do today—Type the keyword R-A-B-B-I (Rabbi), to the phone number 88777. Together we can have a great impact in accomplishing God’s Kingdom purposes and improve life for God’s people on the earth.

That’s all you have to do. It’s completely confidential. Your number will not be given to anybody. And the only one that you’re going to hear from is me (not my assistant, or anybody else).

Beloved, let’s raise up an army. If we attack together—if we all write an email together, in other words, if we have 120,000 people writing an email to someplace—think about the impact that we can have. Imagine 120,000 people coming against a comment that was made on a radio program, on a television program. I’m telling you,
we can do so much if we’ll only come together to do it.

The time of sitting passively on the sidelines is over. Let us raise our voices together, we have God on our side – and it is time we act like it!

Obviously, the enemy is using technology for destructive purposes. But God can use technology for His purposes. Think about it, who created the brain that invented these things in the first place? Let’s give technology a God-filled purpose.

When I offer this texting service, not only will it be an effective tool to unite us, but I am also trying to bring closer to me those of you that love me, and feel connected with me. Many have shared with me how much my texts have comforted and helped them. I hope and trust they will be a blessing to you too!

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
