The LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering … Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it” (Exodus 25:1,8,9).
For me, one of the greatest hidden treasures of the Bible is found in the pattern of the Mishkan, or Tabernacle (God’s dwelling place). It is a divine blueprint for how to enter His presence. The Tabernacle teaches us the principles that must be operating in our lives if we are to experience intimacy with the LORD. The LORD told Moses in Ex. 25:8 that the purpose for this Tabernacle is so that He could dwell with us.
In a divine dream, I saw myself at the door of the Tabernacle, passionately compelling all to hurry and go into the Tabernacle before the world outside the Tabernacle would be destroyed. Yeshua, the door into the safety of the LORD’s Mishkan, is seen throughout the pattern of the Tabernacle. As the worshipper laid his hands on the innocent animal on the Alter of Sacrifice, his sins were transferred into that innocent animal. As a result, the worshipper was free, holy, and blameless before God.
Throughout the Mishkan, Yeshua also reigns as Priest interceding before the perfect Father. He cleanses us at the Brass Laver as we open our hearts and let His Spirit reveal what needs washed and cleansed in Father’s love. And in the Holy Place and Holy of Holies, He brings us into intimacy with our Holy God who has come to dwell with us.
Every day grab ahold of Yeshua’s hand and apply the pattern of the Mishkan to your life. Father’s pattern will never fail in bringing you His heavenly love, order, and supernatural provision!
