Don’t Let Satan Steal Your Sleep, Part 2

Share this:

Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping… “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Matthew 8:24, 26

If Jesus slept through storms, we can sleep through the storms of life too! When you lay down to rest your wearied body and your mind races with thoughts, or your spirit is anxious and agitated, stop wrestling with your flesh and begin warring in the Spirit against the enemy who is tormenting you. In March I shared how repeating the LORD’s prayer (Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4) over and over can bring you into a breakthrough of God’s Presence and Hope. Additionally, repeatedly speaking four short words, “The Blood of Jesus,” destroys oppressive spirits and ignites God’s Spirit of light within you! Jesus’s Blood at the cross is powerful! Father removes all guilt, accusation, shame and condemnation through Jesus. Envision Jesus’s Blood washing away past wayward thinking and actions. Forgiveness releases freedom in our hearts and minds, so that we can rest. And finally, Beloved, envision yourself releasing the wheel of your life to God! He IS trustworthy to go before you with His Angels, transforming EVERY situation into His goodness and Glory, but you must RELEASE your challenges to the LORD. Let Him “fix” things HIS way. May the Spirit of God live in you to praise the LORD and commune with your loving Bridegroom and Father tonight as you rest your head on your pillow!
