Beloved, we were saved to know, worship and love the Father. We exist to praise and honor Him.
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD” (Psalm 150:6)!
Unfortunately, because of the mass deception that encircles the world, people are being misled. They are looking for their identity in the things of the world. Endlessly pursuing their identity and affirmation from other people, in their work position, their possessions, or what their Facebook page says about them.
But that’s not who we are. We are not going to find our identity there. Our identity is that we are chosen in the Father’s love, predestined into a personal relationship with Him. Our true purpose is that we would be those who would praise Him because of the great love which He poured out upon us.
“He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1: 5, 6
What I’m driving at is that you and I, we are tokens of the Creator’s marvelous grace in the earth. We should be walking around always ‘salting’ our communication with the grocer, our neighbor, our dentist, or whoever it is. Our speech should always be seasoned with the salt of praise. People should know we love God. And most important, God should hear our love for Him in our speech. We were saved to the praise of His glorious grace.
How can we keep that a secret? How can we stay silent?
Yeshua said, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out” (Luke 19:40)!
I want to challenge you today, my brother and sister, let the world know who you are. Be bold, be brave! Let the world hear God’s praise coming from your mouth. When something good is said, regardless by who it is that you are talking with, your response should often be—Praise God. When Father answers your prayer—Praise God. When God gets you or a loved one safe somewhere—Praise God. When something good happens—Praise God. When the weather’s nice—Praise God. And friend, even when things are not going our way—Praise God.
Everybody should hear us boasting about our Father, because we were saved to the praise of His glorious grace. You are chosen to know, love and praise the Father through Jesus!
“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1).
