For those who have sought the LORD in Spirit and in truth, a Sunday morning church service is only one small part of the adventure in knowing God. As we read the stories of people who have come and gone before us in the Old Testament, it’s clear that the LORD requires more than simple rituals. He is so much bigger and grander than the simple ritual of man! The LORD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob requires the heart and soul of His people whom He rescues and saves. Biblical history makes it apparent that walking in our natural ways apart from God results in eventual destruction, disease, and death. History reveals that we, as His people, must daily and hourly look, wait and TRUST in (cling to) the LORD with all our heart – leaning not on our own understanding, but acknowledging and submitting to Him in all our ways, so that He directs our path and goes before us in all we do (Proverbs 3:5,6). Beloved, Yahweh God sees and understands the daily challenges we are faced with. He will not leave us to struggle alone if we but seek His face. Our God reigns supernaturally – beyond our natural ways and abilities. So, let’s restrain our fleshly actions and seek to see Abba Father move in His supernatural ways. Today, tell the LORD, “I want to see Your supernatural handiwork in my life.” Then look, wait, and trust to discover your Father moving on your behalf.
These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
