“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

No matter where you find yourself in your journey today, tomorrow, or even next year, you can enter into God’s holy presence because Jesus made a way for you by dying for your sins and then being raised up into the presence of God the Father for your justification.

Because Yeshua shed His blood on the cross, your ability to enter into the presence of God is sure and strong. You can go into God’s presence, draw near to Him, and cry out to Him for help. Accessing the presence of God does not depend on your deeds. If it did, your access would not be sure and strong, because you don’t know what you are going to do tomorrow. You may lose your temper. You may scream at someone or do something selfish. But because your ability to go before the Father is not dependent on the deeds of righteousness you have done but is according to His mercy and what Jesus has done, as Titus 3:5 says, you can go before Him anytime, and He will be there. This promise is sure and strong, and it is never going to change.

God loves you just as much right now as He will love you tomorrow and the next day and next month and next year. He will never love you any more or less than He does right now, and your ability to be near Him will always be because of Jesus. Beloved, Jesus is your lifeline. Cling to Him with all your strength, for if you set your hope on Him, you will not be disappointed. (See Isaiah 49:23, niv.)

Father God, thank You for loving me and for making it possible for me to be in Your presence. I thank You that my access to You is not dependent on my behavior but only on what You have done for me on the cross. Thank You for being an anchor for my soul, a hope both sure and steadfast.
