Beloved, our real destination in life can only be reached when we submit to being guided by Father God. When we make following His leading the priority of our lives, it will bring meaning and purpose – every day. This needs to be our ultimate goal!
When we rely on God and trust Him to direct our paths, suddenly, our lives come into proper focus. Everything has relevancy. This will then propel us and give us the strength – to move forward in victory. Depending on Father to show us the way takes the pressure off. Beloved, like the old Hymn, we just have to “Trust and obey.”
Consider these attributes and ministries of Father into our lives:
Teaches
Father is continually teaching us about all things – by His written Word, in dreams and visions, through other people, and by His Spirit. In this life, we need supernatural wisdom, guidance, and revelation. It is only through His divine instruction that we can be assured to overcome!
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will advise you with My eye upon you.” Psalm 32:8
Protects
There are dangers and threats in this world, as we all know. We are facing difficult times, and beloved, as long as we are on earth – we will continue to. But as we move through the darkness and the enemy’s ploys, know that we are protected – Father has our back; His power is upon our lives, the blood of Yeshua is surrounding us, and Father is watching over us as the apple of His eye. Fathers protect, and you, my beloved child of the Creator of the universe – are indeed protected.
“One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, ’My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!’ For He will give His angels orders concerning you, To protect you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:1-2, 11).
Disciplines
Father is disciplining us. Sometimes we do not understand why we keep running into the same problems. Oftentimes it is because God is trying to wake us up and is disciplining us. Beloved, when we face trials, we need to look up and say: “Father, what are you trying to teach me?” Father uses challenges to discipline us in order to make us more like Yeshua.
“For whom the LORD loves He disciplines, Just as a father disciplines the son (daughter) in whom he delights” (Proverbs 3:12).
Beloved, when we open up to His correction, as He’s disciplining us – we will come into greater and greater victory and greater peace. Our Father loves us and so He teaches us, protects us, and disciplines us. Let’s say together: “Daddy, thank You for making me the apple of Your eye!”
