Each day Rabbi and I seek the LORD by listening to music from the Kansas City International House of Prayer, crying out to Him, listening for His subtle voice, as well as seeking books and materials to surround us in His Truth. But, just like you, we venture out into the world that surrounds us, which is not always filled with His Spirit and Truth. People we encounter in the family, the workplace, as well as the marketplace, often do not have the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and revelation of their Creator.
As I was interacting with family members one day, I felt an oppression upon me. I silently enquired of the LORD what this was, and His Spirit showed me that as I sought to speak of Him, and how He is involved in every detail of our lives, the family members felt uncomfortable and backed away from me. The LORD revealed to me that this was a spirit of shame that was coming from them, in response to talking about our Creator. This shame was empowered by a fear of rejection and being left alone.
The LORD then clearly spoke these words to me, “Shame on them, NOT shame on Me!!!” WOW! Revelation immediately hit me! I repented, saying, “LORD, YOU are the center of the universe. You are the Creator of all things, and just as planets revolve around the sun, so I revolve around the Son of God, the Most High King of Kings; Who was, Who is, and Who is to come! I will remain in this truth and continue to speak of You in my home, in my work, and in the marketplace; that YOUR Name is exalted upon the earth. LORD, draw all men to Yourself through my life!”
