Love is Supernatural

Share this:

When we believe in our hearts one hundred percent in the supernatural reality that God is always with us, always for us, and really enjoys us, it will open us up to experience a whole new life. When we fully embrace and unquestionably accept God’s unconditional love for us, it will lead us into eternal life. As we more and more come into the revelation of God’s love for us it will create an overwhelming joy in our lives every day.

But beloved, this “place” can only be discovered and apprehended through the supernatural.

The supernatural is actually all about the endless love of the Father. The reason and purpose for the supernatural is to bring us into a greater revelation and experience of His love. And when we understand and trust this, we will seek for the supernatural in our lives.

In reality, God’s kingdom is the kingdom of supernatural love and He is longing for two things.

First, He wants to love us. He wants us to receive that love, to let Him in. He is standing at the door of our hearts and knocking.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

Second, He desires to be loved by us.

“The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him” (John 14:21).

“If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him” (John 14:23).

But we often put other things in place of faithfully loving God as our priority. We can subtly and unknowingly substitute busyness or going through the motions, all the while feeling like we are working for and serving Him.

“I know your deeds and your labor and perseverance.”

Revelation 2:2

They were faithful. They were committed. But Jesus goes on to say: “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love” (Revelation 2:4).

Have you possibly drifted unconsciously into that place? You have been faithfully going to church, tithing, reading your Bible, singing in the choir, and so forth; but Jesus is looking for something more from you and me. He is wanting us to love Him.

You can be brought into a deeper encounter with your loving Father by realizing how much He loves you and is present with you. We can only grasp this through the supernatural revelation of the Holy Spirit.

“Father, we ask You to burn into our hearts through the Ruach Ha Kodesh how loved we are by You in Yeshua. And Father that You would also burn within our hearts that same fiery passion of love that the Lord Jesus has for You.”
