Did you know that Yeshua promised that as we continue to cling to Him and make Him the Lord over our lives – He would bring us to a place where we would reign over our enemies? Yes, over all those that have accused us, every spirit that has condemned us, and everyone that has mocked us!
Jesus said, “I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that I have loved you” (Revelation 3:9).
Beloved, we will obtain the ultimate victory and receive complete justification. God is going to bring our lives to a triumphant conclusion! But we must continue to hold on and stay strong. We may lose some battles, but we will surely win the war.
There is nothing that exists, or ever will, that is capable of keeping God from completing what He says. He is a sovereign God. We can be confident of this because of who made the promise to us.
That is why Paul said (Ephesians 3:20), “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.” We have to filter everything through the reality that our God is limitless, invincible, and in control.
Remember that it looked like Jesus had lost when He was on the cross as they were mocking and spitting on Him. They thrust a spear in His side and placed a thorn of crowns on His head. It must have seemed like they had the last laugh. But God was not done! Yeshua rose from the dead!
“But God raised Him from the dead, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power” (Acts 2:24).
The enemy had thought he had succeeded, but his celebration was cut short.
Beloved, although at times it may seem that the enemy is winning, stand your ground – victory is assured! Your ultimate accuser, the devil, will have his day in “court” and receive the final judgement for all his false accusations and lies. We will have the last laugh!
“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night” (Revelation 12:10).
So, hold on and stay strong.
“The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 3:21-22
