Peace

“Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’ And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).’” John 20: 21, 22

There is much revelation when we understand why Jesus said, “Peace be with you” and then said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Beloved, as Jesus released His Spirit, He was also releasing His peace! Peace is the foundation and substance of having authority. Unless we are in peace—we will have no power!

So beloved, it is critical for us, in order to maintain peace, to develop and practice spiritual discernment. This will enable us to stop evil spirits that would cause us to be anxious, persuade us to run, or attempt to take away His peace from our heart and mind. We must keep them out! We have to shut any door to these spirits in order to be at peace and thus walk in authority. Beloved, true spiritual discernment comes from God, through putting His Word (Solid Food) in our spirit, and by becoming spiritually in-tune to everything around us.

“But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good
and evil.” Hebrews 5:14

PRAYER
Father God, in Yeshua’s name, we can talk about these things, but we know to receive these things, it must be supernatural. Jesus, we think about Peter and how You said to Him, “Who do you say that I am?” And when he answered back to You, “You’re the Messiah,” You then said to Him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 16:17).” Father God, we come and ask You right now to sovereignly and supernaturally empower us with supernatural discernment to know evil form good, so we can defeat any ploy of the enemy to steal our peace. Father, we ask that You would bless us with peace, with the very peace of the Sar Shalom, The Prince of Peace, Jesus the Messiah. We ask You to strengthen us in our inner man with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Strengthen our soul and gird our mind, Father, so that we become diligent in our walk, leading us to maturity in our faith. I pray, Father, in Jesus’ name, breathe on us fresh once again, with the same Words that Jesus spoke over the first Apostles, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” “My peace I give to you.” Father, in Jesus’ name, we thank You today for the gift of peace, and we ask You again, Abba God, strengthen us mightily in the Sar Shalom, The Prince of Peace, Jesus the Messiah. Father, we love You. We glorify You!
