“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being trans- formed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
—2 Corinthians 3:18
This verse is one of my favorites in the entire Bible. It is telling us that as we focus on the Lord and His Word, we are seeing into the Spirit of Jesus Himself. And as we look upon Jesus, the Spirit of the Lord is supernaturally transforming us into His image. We are going from glory to glory and from strength to strength. Simply put, you and I are being changed.
This is one of the greatest miracles you can ever experience—to look at your life and see how Jesus has changed you. When you think about what you were like five years ago, you should notice that you are different. You should see that you have changed because everything that is alive is growing and changing. Only something that is dead remains the same. Of all the miracles I have experienced in my life, seeing how God is changing me is one of the most thrilling.
We are being changed even into the image of Jesus Himself. So I speak transformation over your life right now by the power of the Spirit of the living God. I want to encourage you, beloved one, to know that as you seek first the kingdom of God and make Jesus first in your life, He is going to do amazing things in your life. He is going to do more than you can ask or think. He is changing you, and you are going to be doubly blessed.
Father God, I thank You that I am not the same as I was last year or even last month. As I look to You and yield to Your Word, I am becoming more like You. I thank You for moving me from glory to glory and from strength to strength and transforming me in the process.
