“Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Beloved, Jesus died for your sins. Because of that one thing, because of what He has done, you can go before the Father every single day, confident in His love for you. I know how convincing the enemy’s lies can sound. But every time he tells you God is angry with you or that you’re not worthy, remind yourself that the blood of Jesus makes you worthy, not your own goodness.

God loves you right where you are. He loves you too much to leave you there, but He loves you just as you are, and that will never change. So be confident in God’s love for you and know that you can go boldly before Him because Jesus’ blood has made you clean.

Oftentimes we let the devil keep us from having the confidence to go before God because he accuses us of our sin, and as a result we feel shame and unworthy of HaShem’s love and blessing. We know we’re not perfect and feel that we’ve somehow let Father down and don’t deserve His goodness. But the author of the Book of Hebrews tells us that we should have confidence in His love for us and our place in His heart.

If our right standing before God could have been based on our own works, Jesus never would have had to come to earth and die for us. But because God knew we could never be made righteous through our own efforts, He sent Yeshua to die for our sins. Because of Jesus, we can come boldly before the throne of grace to obtain help from HaShem.

Yeshua, not our own goodness, is the source of our confidence! Amen?

Father God, because of Yeshua, I come boldly before You, and I believe that Yeshua’s blood has washed me clean. I will draw near to You and not shrink back. I am confident in Your love for me and in what Jesus’ blood accomplished for me on the cross.
