“For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward” (Mark 9:41).

Jesus talked a lot about being a faithful steward of the resources that we have been given. This requires each of us to evaluate ourselves in every area of our life as we ask the Lord – “Father, am I honoring you with my talents, treasure, and time?”

This includes glorifying the Lord with our wealth when we pass. Many of us honor God with our tithes and offerings now, but have we made a plan to honor the Lord with our possessions when we go home?

The work of the Kingdom must continue after we are gone,

How can we do this? By constructing a will or an estate plan that designates a portion of our assets to a soul winning ministry.

Jesus said, 

“It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

AND…

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).
