“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!”
—Psalm 150:6

One day soon you and I are going to be in an environment where the words of Psalm 150:6 will be a reality. In heaven everything that has breath will be praising the Lord. We won’t be able to help it. Praise will be involuntary just as breathing is involuntary. Praise will simply be the natural response to the great- ness and glory of God.

But on earth right now we have a choice. We can either choose to grumble, focus on the negative, and see the glass as only half full, or we can count our blessings and wake up in the morning, saying: “Father God, I thank You that I am alive today and that You have given me an opportunity to grow in You. I thank You, Father God, that even though things are difficult, You are using these challenges to strengthen me, and this season is producing an eternal weight of glory in me that cannot compare to the temporary difficulty.”

Beloved, God has given you the power to touch His heart through your praise. So I want to encourage you to choose to praise God while you are on this earth. Show the Father that you love Him by being positive and blessing Him. Yeshua loves you so much, and when you pour out your love for Him through your praise, it moves His heart.

Father God, You are great and greatly to be praised. I know that one day everything that has breath will be praising You in heaven, but I choose to praise You now. You have been too good for me to keep silent. You have given me life and strength, and You sacrificed Your Son so I could spend eternity with You. Father, You are worthy of my praise. Help me to never take Your goodness to me for granted.
