“God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.”
— Acts 2:32–33, NIV
In Acts 2 Peter is preaching to the crowd that gathered after the power of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples in the Upper Room. When those first believers received the Holy Spirit, their lives supernaturally changed, and the same thing happens to you and me, beloved.
When you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, there will be a supernatural dimension to your life. The Spirit of the living God, the Ruach HaKodesh, makes us alive. He gives us revelation into the heart of God so we can know Him. The Spirit of God will also give us supernatural boldness, supernatural peace, supernatural joy, and supernatural revelation. God’s Spirit imparts to us a supernatural ability to love, overcome, and prosper.
In Hebrew we call the Holy Spirit the Ruach HaKodesh, which means the breath of God. There is no greater gift God could give than His own Spirit.
Thank You, Father God, for giving me Your Spirit, for empowering me with the Ruach HaKodesh, and making me a bold witness for You. I ask that You allow me to experience the supernatural. Use me to manifest Your glory in the earth.
