“Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.”

The same anointing, the same Holy Spirit that was on Jesus and in Jesus, is on and in His people today. We will do the same works that Jesus did and in a greater way because the church is not made up of one person but of everyone who is born again and has received the Spirit of God. What this means is if you have the courage as a believer in Yeshua to lay hands on people and pray for them, to take authority over demonic spirits, you are going to see results.

I cannot explain why sometimes people get healed and sometimes they don’t, but what I can tell you is this: if you will consistently lay your hands on those who are sick—your friends, loved ones, family, coworkers, etc.—and just say, “Jesus, I take authority over this sickness in Your name; I curse it at the root, and I speak Your healing,” you will see results. You can take authority over cancer, you can take authority over demonic spirits, and you can release wholeness in Yeshua’s name. Jesus went throughout Judea healing the sick and casting out devils, and He said greater works than these shall you do. But you have to step out of the boat.

Father God, I thank You that in You I have the authority to cast out demons and to pray for the sick and see them recover. I pray that You give me greater confidence in the power of Your Spirit that lives in me. Help me to walk in the fullness of Your power. Your Word says that the church will do greater works than what Jesus did while He walked the earth. I ask that You cause me to live in that reality.
