“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
— Jeremiah 33:3
Do you hunger for more? Do you want the Lord to reveal to you new dimensions of His glory? Do you want a life filled with adventure? This is what Father God is promising in today’s verse. He’s promising that as we keep seeking Him—as we keep knocking, asking, and calling on Him—He’s going to cause the glory of heaven to come upon our lives, and He’s going to reveal Himself to us in ways we’ve never experienced! Amen.
I know sometimes life seems dry. It seems monotonous and mechanical. But we have to go through these times. God is working in our lives even when we’re in the midst of the valley or it seems as if nothing is happening, just as He’s working in the trees during the winter when all their leaves are gone. In fact, trees can better soak up nutrients in the winter when they don’t have to spread that nourishment to the outer leaves. In much the same way, God is working in your life even during those dry winter seasons when you don’t feel His presence.
There’s a time for everything, and the Lord says if you call upon Him, He’s going to reveal His glory to you in ways you’ve never known. Beloved one, I want to encourage you to stay hungry and expectant. Don’t give up hope. Keep pressing on. God is alive. There’s more for you.
