The reason we are seeing such chaos and confusion in the world is because as we move deeper into the last days, God is going to begin to stop exerting the same amount of His authority and government in the world. This will create the environment for the Antichrist to arise, which the Scriptures teach must happen before Jesus returns.

As the Holy Spirit begins to pull back, evil is going to rise, and that is what we’re dealing with right now. We feel it in the culture. We feel it in politics. We see it in the brokenness of relationships. All over, we see that chaos and evil are having sway. 

These are serious times, and in order to stand, we need to seek the Lord more unreservedly and passionately than ever. We must feed ourselves daily with the Word and talk to God all day long, even if it’s silently. Seize His Word, beloved one, and don’t let anything else in. As you do, as the times gets darker, you will continue to move forward in the Lord, and you will stand. Even in the end times, you “will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.”
