And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. II Kings 6:17

One morning I awoke to hear the words (in spirit) saying, “Open your eyes!” These Spirit-packed words immediately lifted my heart. Abba Father graciously knocked me out of a weary-eyed state and into a place of great expectation in what I could see by His Spirit throughout the day. With all natural, demonic, and foreboding indicators cast completely out of my presence, the LORD lifted me into experiencing the day through His lens. 

As sons and daughters of the Most High, even though we may feel outnumbered by the numerous problems and negative forces we face, the reality is that multitudes of unseen Heavenly resources and operations continually surround us (Psalm 91:11).  Additionally, as we open our eyes to see in the Spirit we gain power through revelation to speak God’s commanding, authoritative words of love and righteousness. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” We activate Father’s powerful Heavenly forces on behalf of ourselves and others through what we declare. 

Upon arising each morning, as well as throughout the day, let’s hear and speak the Spirit’s words, “Open your eyes!” and transcend the power of darkness to see the Heavenly realm that surrounds us. Beloved, let’s shift spiritual atmospheres and activate God’s Heavenly forces to work on our behalf!
