I love the LORD’s feasts (God’s appointed meetings with His people)! Each one has deep meanings and relevance to me and my brethren who I will live with together, forever! Each one keeps me tethered to the grand story and plans of Yahweh God, my Father. Each one tells God’s story of His relationship with His beloved ones: a story that was, is, and is coming in the future. In October we celebrate Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, and I am reveling in the reality that one day I will be joined together in pure, perfect, unstained love and joy with all of you -Yeshua’s Bride and my eternal Sisters and Brothers! The picture is so clearly painted for us in Scripture. “Behold, the dwelling of God is among men, and He shall tabernacle among them. They shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them and be their God. He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more. Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:3b-4” 

Beloved, our Father instructed us, His people, to gather together for the Feast of Tabernacles, as a holy convocation, which in Hebrew is “moed” (Lev. 23:33-35). This appointed festival is a rehearsal. We are rehearsing for a time where there will be no more striving, no more competition and no more sinning against one another. Oh, what a glorious day we wait for, when the presence of our Redeemer’s love and glory overwhelms us. Let’s shift out of the competitive world that we find ourselves in, to gather, embrace and encourage one another. In trusting that we are Abba’s beloved children, who are truly loved and cared for, we resist the temptation to strive against others as a way of survival and finding significance. Instead, Abba gives us a taste of His Kingdom of perfect love, joy and peace. Rabbi and I love you. Let’s love, forgive and encourage others so that we taste of Yeshua’s Kingdom that’s coming soon. We’ll live together, forever, in love, so let’s rehearse NOW, and make our Father proud and joyful!
