As you may know, I enjoy spending time in nature. The beauty of God’s creation can be breathtaking. When you see the majestic forests, the deer, the foxes, the hummingbirds, and the awe-inspiring mountains, it is so evident that there is an incredible, intelligent Creator who designed everything that exists. But can you even begin to imagine how beautiful it’s going to be when the tabernacle of God is among men and we see Him face to face in heaven?

Today’s verse tells us that in the new heaven and the new earth, Adonai will literally dwell among us. The Bible also says in 1 John 3:2 that when Yeshua appears, we’re going to see Him as He is. Everything we see is going to be pulsating with life—the plants, flowers, music, and the river of life. It is going to be indescribable. First Corinthians 2:9 says, “Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Beloved, the beauty we see now in nature is just a hint of the glory your heavenly Father has prepared for you. Some of us have forgotten that this world is not our home. We are only passing through here. We are citizens of heaven (Phil. 3:20–21). So let’s be encouraged today. Give Him thanks, have hope, and know that we have a destiny and a future that will be filled with the inexpressible glory and beauty of God. “Look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28, KJV).

Thank You, Father, for choosing mankind to be in relationship with You. Thank You for choosing me. Thank You for writing my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I love You and through Your power will live for You with a joyful heart today.
