Include God in Everything

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
—Proverbs 3:6

In life there are so many decisions we need to make every single day. All day long we’re faced with choices, and frankly, sometimes I don’t know what the right choice is. I don’t know the end from the beginning. So the only thing that gives me peace is if I acknowledge God throughout my day and ask Him to guide me and help me to make the right decisions.

We don’t know how everything we face in life is going to play out. So how do we have confidence? How can we be secure? How can we walk in a way that keeps us from being anxious? It’s by acknowledging God in all we do. Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

That’s why oftentimes throughout the day, I’ll just stop and pray. I’ll gather with the people I work with, and we will pray together before we start filming or making decisions. Why? To acknowledge the Father in all we’re doing so we can make the most of the opportunities He has given us to serve Him and to be a blessing for Him to those He wants to reach through us.

I want to encourage you today to include God in everything. This might sound comical to you, but I ask the Lord what clothes to wear every day. I ask the Lord what I should eat at night. I ask the Lord whether or not I should have dessert. I include Him in everything as much as possible, and the result is the same as it is for everyone who acknowledges Him—He makes our paths straight and prospers us.

Beloved, God loves you. He is just waiting for you and me to fully love Him back and include Him 100 percent in our lives. When we do, the fullness of HaShem’s love and blessing will cover us.

Father God, I ask You to help me keep You at the center of all I do. Help me to include You in everything. You’ve numbered every hair on my head, so I know You care about every detail of my life. Help me to seek Your counsel, even in the small things. Thank You, Father, for making my paths straight as I depend on and keep my eyes on You. In Yeshua’s name.
