“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, my adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident.”
— Psalm 27:1–3
What incredible favor David had, and what a gift it was for him to know the Lord was taking care of his enemies.
Father God said to Yeshua, “Sit at My right hand, until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet.”’ I want to encourage you, beloved one. Don’t think you have to control everything. Rather than looking out and trying to handle everyone and everything that tries to attack you, just trust that God is for you. Just focus on having a right heart toward Him and being in alignment with HaShem, and watch what He does to those who are accusing and coming against you. You’re going to see that the Lord is going before you, that He truly is the defense of your life.
“Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God.” Father God is with you. May He impart to you a healthy dose of “God confidence” today.
