FAITH THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS

“Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. ”
— Mark 11:23

Faith is powerful, but we have to war for it. Doubt takes no effort, but faith takes kavanah—it takes focus and intention. Believing is like paddling against the current; we must fight for it. Yet Yeshua said, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God.” So to see God’s glory manifest in our lives, we must believe. There is no other way.

But what should we believe? We should believe God is good. We should believe Father wants to bless us and will do so. We should believe we are protected in Him. We should believe God is at work in our lives “both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”

I want to encourage you to stand in faith. Yeshua said, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” Beloved one, we don’t have to labor for the answers to our prayers. We don’t have to pray louder or try harder to receive from the Lord. All we need to do is believe that God has heard the whisper of our hearts and that we have what we’ve requested. This is how we build faith that can move mountains.
